First produced in 2000 with the idea of exalting the characteristics of Merlot in Matelica. We consider Matelica to be an ideal habitat for this vineyard. It is a structured wine but at the same time it is easy to drink and has elegance. To date, we have only produced six 2015 vintages, those of which we consider to be of excellent quality. It is the winery’s only wine that matures in new barriques..

Interesting fact:: the name Ardiale is dedicated to Umberto's daughter, GagliArdi Alessandra.
